Rip began with Camperdown Cellars 25 years ago, becoming a partner in the business in 2001. He has a passion for smart business, exceptional customer service, food and fancy cars. As the big chief, Rip oversees all the stores doing his best to keep our customers, suppliers and the team happy. Cycling, the gym and a passionate interest in Pinot Noir keeps him happy. Rip welcomes contact from any of our customers, suppliers and industry partners alike, so if there's anything you think Camperdown Cellars should know about then don't hesitate to get in touch.

Colin McGregor

Operations Manager

With over 13 years experience in the industry Colin had his palate whipped in to shape while managing Oddbins and Nicolas fine wine stores in his home nation of Scotland. Fortunately for Camperdown Cellars it was only a couple of months into a year travelling  Australia that he chanced upon Camperdown Cellars and he has been a part of the team off and on ever since.

His prime interests are wine, malt whisky and beer but you can always tempt him with a cheeky gin or two.

Romuald Delage

Store Manager - Darlinghurst

Romuald worked as a chef for 10 years while travelling in Europe where he met his Australian bride who shared his passion for wine.

Romuald completed two diplomas in viticulture and oenology near his home town in Bordeaux before moving to Australia and joining Camperdown Cellars in 2004. He took a two year break and rejoined the team in 2009. Romy tells us this time, he's back for good!

Jason Bush

Store Manager - Parramatta Road

Born and raised in Melbourne, Jason took to the industry in the late 1990s working in pubs and bottle shops before making his way to Sydney in 2004. Then, following his vinous interests, he took his first trip to France where he fell in love with all things French; Champagne in particular. Jason joined the Camperdown Cellars team in 2013, settling in to manage the Kingston Road store before transferring to enjoy the sunshine and coastal breezes of Bronte and finally transferring to our flagship store on Parramatta Rd, Camperdown.

When he’s not at work you’ll find Jason indulging his other loves; travelling, sightseeing, sharing food and wine with friends and more recently motorbike riding to get away on weekends.

Marshall Flanagan

Store Manager - Double Bay

Martin Richmond

Store Manager - Neutral Bay

As with many teenage boys, Martin grew up hoping to play cricket for Australia. When that didn’t work out he took a casual job working for a friend who was managing a local liquor store. At just 18 years of age Martin was soon in high demand as a casual and in time, substitute manager. He went on to manage stores in Queensland and New South Wales for both the supermarket chains and small independents. Then after several years working for one of the large breweries as an account manager, Martin joined the Camperdown Cellars team in 2013. He says, “In my view Camperdown Cellars represents the cutting edge in liquor retail in terms of innovation, rapidity of change, ranging, and customer service and satisfaction.”

Matthew McMahon

Matthew McMahon

Store Manager – Kingston Road

Matthew grew up just outside the Sydney City limits in the small town of Wollongong where he spent a good proportion of his adult life honing his brewing skills. His passion lead him to work in a small brewery on the South Coast before wanting to expand his expertise and gain more experience within the liquor industry. Since joining Camperdown Cellars, Matthew has shown great enthusiasm and passion for his craft and our customers and team members alike have benefited greatly since his arrival.

Will Jones

Retail Operations & Corporate Accounts Manager

Will is a local Sydney boy who discovered a passion for wine, beer and spirits while searching for a way to travel and make an income too. Evidently this was a genius plan as the next decade included managing bottle shops and working at some of the best hotels in Australia, interspersed with significant amount of time in Europe, Africa and South America. After returning from overseas and progressing further into hotel management, Will found he had a talent for logistics and back of house operations. Starting a family around the same time meant that reverting back to the more sociable hours of liquor stores suited both his career and his better half.

When not coordinating tradesmen, logistics and managing our corporate accounts, you’ll find Will chasing after his children, playing social sport and planning his next overseas adventure.

Craig Lycett

Store Manager - Leichhardt

Having been in the industry since 1998, Craig has worked and managed various liquor stores throughout Sydney. Along the way he has developed a thirst for all things craft beer and cultivated a love of good wine. As a Newtown local he has access to some of the best restaurants and bars in Sydney. While he can be enticed to dine out or sample the craft beers at his local, he’s just as likely to stay home with a good bottle of red or a chardonnay. One of his favourite parts of his job is talking to customers about what wines they love and what they are willing to try. He gets a particular buzz when they come back to tell him how much they enjoyed a bottle or a winery new to them.

Bradley Sullivan

Store Manager- Bronte

Fresh out of High School Bradley began his career in chain liquor stores and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team at Camperdown Cellars. His passion for the liquor trade was developed by the vast, varied and interesting products available locally and from around the world. He loves the fact that each product has it's own unique story to tell; as did each of his customers. Bradley moved into management roles over the years and he is now our store manager at Cremorne. Bradley’s other passion is motorcycling followed by his great interest in craft beer. He enjoys European reds, particularly Spanish Tempranillo‘s and Italian Montepulciano’s. In 2013 Bradley spent a year attempting to launch his own energy drink company which has been placed in a hiatus and decided to return to his roots in liquor retailing. Bradley began working with us soon after and he is looking forward to being of assistance to all our locals in Cremorne.

Lisa Halgren

Store Manager - Cremorne

Straight out of school I went travelling on and off for 4 years around Europe, New Zealand, America and most recently have been discovering more of Australia. Found my love for wine in New Zealand's infamous Pinot Noir region of Central Otago. I enjoy wine, beer, whisky, gin, pretty much the whole shabang!Have worked previously for 3 years at Vintage Cellars extending my liquor knowledge and liquor industry retail experience.
In school, I hated science, and to think that I'd end up in a science-based industry is hilarious. In 2014 I completed my WSET Level 3 Intensive 2 week course and now am going on to study a degree of Wine Science at Charles Sturt University. My other love in life is photography, working under the name of Lisa Halgren Photography, focusing mainly on photojournalism. I also love sourcing new hidden bars around Sydney with my partner, going to art exhibitions, the art of psychology, italian food, mexican food, margaritas and travelling... anywhere.
