In the case of this Shiraz, 40 year old vines with super low yields have produced extraordinarily concentrated bunches of flavour. From this outstanding vintage Margan has made a structured wine with a complex bouquet of white pepper, clove like spice with hints of coffee bean. Classic Hunter tannins, great palate legnth, balance and finesse, this wine will reward cellaring over the next decade.
